  1. I also see this trend and I must wonder if it is because of the number of blogs in circulation out there that most people do not know where to begin and once they do, reading one view is often enough. If I had the answer as to “why” I probably would be filthy rich as a consultant to the blogging industry. So, in the meantime, I try my best to write diverse thoughts but somehow all encompassed within the bubble that is FAITH!

Interesting observation. Certainly the amount of blogs out there must make it difficult to sift through to the good stuff, but if they don’t have the content they probably won’t be returned to. I guess we just keep plugging away because we enjoy it and if someone gets blessed, then that’s a bonus 🙂

  3. I still love you! Don’t you dare stop writing! 🙂

  6. I admire your writing style very much because it is earthy and human. One of the downfalls of many Christian blogs, in my opinion, is that everyone wants to teach or preach, and very few want to just tell their story. I think testimonies would bring Christian blogs to a whole new level, because people want to know where we came from and how we found God. The book of Revelation says that the saints “overcame by the blood of the Lamb and word of their testimony.” We need more Christians to humbly tell their story with a voice of compassion, instead of trying to teach people who don’t even know who they are.

The other thing that will cost a writer in traffic is editorial writings on controversial subjects that Christians don’t even agree upon. It’s best to look for common ground and strengthen the sense of unity.

I think it’s wonderful that you are asking these questions.

i like olive twists comment here,…..and firestone,…your page is quite unique…….i think that if i was to just tell my story,….it would be an entire book in and of itself,…..but,…to be told as correctly as i could tell it,….it would include scriptures and examples of how their usage has benefited me in my life,….which could be viewed as preaching and teaching, i suppose??? maybe,….for some,….a combination helps to keep things down to earth,..but at the same time, reflect the involvement of spiritual issues as well???…….no matter what,…..i love writings that make me, or inspire me, think outside our boxes…..toksoon, john e doe

thank you so much for your positive words. i believe life is a journey lived that needs to be told. our experiences must be aa tool of reaching others and if possible let them see a glimpse of the other side

yup,…if not,….life can easily appear to be like a really low budget zombie movie!!!!!! and i hate zombie movies!!!!,…,…..but no lol!!!!,…..if anyone disagrees,….all they have to do is go to wal-mart and just watch people wander the aisles!!!! lol and, oh yes,…they’ll see the zombies too!!!
